Many decades ago, in response to parental concerns of explicit motion pictures showing graphic sex, drugs, and violence et cetera, an enforceable rating system was developed then enforced. This protected the public especially vulnerable children from life destroying, indoctrinating brainwashing and grooming children towards inevitable perversion including death. The fact was, is and remains children do not have the awareness level to differentiate between not only what is real vs. fantasy, but what is harmful even deadly to them. In NO way, did this violate “free speech / freedom of the press” or any perceived “right.” “CARA” The Classifications and Ratings Administration was established comprised of an independent group of parents. Eventually, and rightfully so, ratings or content labels extended food products stating ingredients to TV commercials (bottom of screen with verbal description especially medicine and its negative effects including deadly), advertising (cigarette ads are a prime example “known to cause cancer”), TV programs with both ratings label on program description such as PG or MA, and verbal “some of this program may be inappropriate for children, parental discretion is advised” – even Parental “lockout” settings on TV sets and cable! Todays’ media not only is biased, but freely and without any hesitation uses vulgarity to promote violence and murder ranging from over the top coverage of the lefts’ sponsored terrorist groups burning our cities, to the lefts’ sponsored Hamas et.al. terrorist groups attacking Jews and not being held to account – even portraying Hamas as heroic VICTIMS and great role models for children, to calling President Trump as NAZI – thus promoting and encouraging 2 murder attempts on President Trump. They also downplayed the Butler, Pennsylvania murder attempt almost as though it was a mosquito bite to President Trump’s ear! During President Trump’s first term, CNN constantly dropped the “F bomb” uncensored! Imagine your child watching this then asking you “Mommy-what does “F” mean?” I think the above points are valid examples and reasons why a regulated and enforced (possibly by the FCC) rating system needs to be established immediately. Currently, the FCC or Federal Communications Commission regulates the air waves and new communications such as the internet complete with required broadcast licensing fees. Their function could easily be expanded to setting new broadcast ratings enforceable with failure to comply fines even revoking / permanent loss of broadcast license. The motion picture industry successfully used a rating system of “X rated, R rated, PG rated, G rated. A similar tailored for the media such as “VHF rated content (vulgarity and hate filled), UDF/L rated content (“undocumented” facts/lies), HPUDF/L (high percentage of “undocumented” facts and lies), HPDF rated content (high percentage of documented facts), RPDF rated content (reasonable percentage of documented facts), CHPDF rated content (consistently high percentage of documented facts) et cetera. Similar to weather alert warnings or Amber alert warnings, banners would be required across the bottom of the screen throughout the broadcast. Additionally, at the beginning of the broadcast, an announcement stating “the following program is rated …viewer discretion is advised.” Any network failing to both announce and display banner would be fined $1,000,000 or more each occurrence. After three or more violations, automatic revocation, possibly permanent, takes place. An “mediation of revocation process” hearing would be held allowing probationary reinstatement of broadcast license with mandatory written and broadcast apology along with mandatory $100,000,000 fine. An additional provision aimed at “insurrectionists” network owners, individual “journalists,” station managers, broadcast directors et cetera would require mandatory prison sentences. President Trump, please pass the Hold Media Accountable Act (HMAA).
